Business Development Manager
Studio Pod is a Houston based start up that is disrupting the traditional studio photography market with its automated, mobile professional photography studios that currently specialize in capturing headshots for teams and individuals. Studio Pod is expanding into multiple cities this year, and also launching its enterprise solution for large institutions.
As Studio Pod enters an exciting growth phase, and expands from a single-city to multi-city business, we are looking for a highly motivated individual who is a strong communicator, networker, negotiator and problem solver to fill the role of Business Development Manager.
This individual will be expected to:
Drive customer and revenue growth by:
Expand awareness of Studio Pod as a new and better way to take headshots
Developing corporate and institutional connections and leads
Generating proposals and educating potential and new customers about Studio Pod’s product and benefits
Securing and maintaining annual contracts
Developing and executing existing and new sales and growth strategies
Helping to build proper sales channels
Assisting in scaling Studio Pod into a nationally recognized brand
Help build, maintain and provide leadership to a sales team
Assist in hiring
Develop new sales strategies
Setting and maintaining sales goals that ensure revenue growth
Provide leadership to our sales team
Communicate across marketing and sales teams to ensure a unified and supportive brand message
Regular reporting to executive team about goals and milestones
Maintain and grow corporate and institutional relationships
Ensure a quality experience for corporate and institutional customers
Grow corporate and institutional connections across city and state lines
Understand and communicate customer needs to assist executive and development teams in better software feature development

Education/Experience:
Minimum: High School diploma or GED, and 3+ years' relevant sales experience in a business-to-business professional sales environment, and 2 or more years' with a proven track record of new business development.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent educational level.
