The problem

Corporate headshot programs break in three predictable places.

Whether you're running people ops at a 50-person startup or a global enterprise, the same three problems show up in every employee-photo program:

New-hire photos

New-hire photos lag onboarding by weeks

Photographers book out. A Tuesday new-hire ends up with an LLM-generated placeholder on the team page for a month, and the photographer takes their photo the same week they're putting their out-of-office on for a long weekend.

Quality drifts

Quality drifts across the team

Two photographers means two lighting styles, two background colors, two crop ratios. By year three the team page looks like a high-school yearbook composite, not a corporate directory.

Senior leadership

Senior leadership gets a different treatment

The CEO gets a studio shoot. The new analyst gets an iPhone photo at their desk. The visible quality gap signals an internal hierarchy you didn't mean to broadcast.

The solution

Meet Studio Pod: one studio. Every employee. Same standard.

Studio Pod ships a self-serve corporate headshot system in two form factors: install S1 / S3 pods in your HQ lobby (4 hr to 1 day) or ship a Roadie portable studio to any office for a day. Every photo comes out of the same DSLR + studio-lighting stack, with brand-locked backdrop, crop, and lighting recipe.

  • Identical output, every employee. Studio-grade lighting + a Canon DSLR + a brand-locked backdrop produce the same look across every subject. Your team page reads as one company, not five photographers.
  • New hires shoot on day one. No scheduling. No "we'll get to you next month." The new hire walks past the pod on their first day, takes the photo, and the directory updates before their welcome email lands.
  • Self-serve, run by no one. No photographer, no admin, no calendar. The pod runs itself. Your people ops team gets back the eight hours a quarter they used to spend chasing headshot bookings.
  • Branded portal + HRIS export. The corporate portal handles SSO sign-in, auto-naming to employee ID, brand-locked backdrops, retouch tier selection, and direct export to your HRIS / directory / Slack profile pipeline.
  • Scales from 50 to 50,000. Studio Pod has delivered 300,000+ corporate headshots to date. The same hardware that runs at a 50-person startup runs at a Fortune-100 lobby. No re-buying when you grow.
  • Annual refreshes happen automatically. Most corporate programs miss the every-two-years refresh. Studio Pod can run open-booth days quarterly and the pod will produce the same standard on every refresh - your team page stays current without a project.
FAQ

Common questions, answered.

How much does a corporate Studio Pod program cost?

Annual Unlimited Studio plans start at $695/mo. Buy outright: S1 from $16,950, S3 from $33,000. Roadie ship-anywhere events from $2,500 (2 days). All prices published - see /professional-headshots/for-sale for the lineup or /delivery-unlimited-headshots for the corporate subscription.

Can you integrate with Workday / BambooHR / our HRIS?

Yes. The corporate portal supports API export - photos auto-named to employee ID, cropped to your directory spec, pushed to your HRIS, directory service, or Active Directory. Workday, BambooHR, Rippling, Gusto, ADP, and most major HRIS platforms have integration patterns available.

Do all employees have to come to one location?

No. Three options: (1) install a pod at one HQ and have remote employees visit a Studio Pod walk-in studio (8 nationwide), (2) ship Roadie to each office for a day, (3) Unlimited Studio gives every employee access to walk-in studios on their own schedule. Most enterprise customers mix all three.

What about branded backdrops?

Lock the backdrop color, lighting recipe, and crop ratio to your brand once during install. Every photo across the org matches. Custom-printed brand backdrops are available on annual programs at no additional cost.

How long does it take an employee to use the pod?

Five minutes per person. The on-screen flow walks each subject through 15 frames, lets them pick their favorite, and emails the final the moment they confirm. Most clients run a 50-person team through in an hour.

What if an employee hates their photo?

Free retakes. Subjects can come back to the pod anytime during your contract term and shoot a new session. Annual customers run quarterly open-booth days so employees can re-shoot whenever they want.
